What happens at Hope

What happens at Hope Church on a Sunday?

Join us at Hope Church for our morning family service. The main weekly meeting at Hope is our family service at the church building in Alverton. Visitors are always welcome and you can find out a bit more about our meetings here.

Meeting times

Sunday meetings normally start at 10:30am, but we suggest you get there a bit earlier as the best seats usually go quickly! To check the dates and time for a specific Sunday, have a look at the events page.

Hope Church Sunday meetings

Teaching and worship

On most Sundays we will enjoy a time of sung worship to start with followed a message from one of the team here at Hope or a visiting speaker. The worship is fairly contemporary (yes, we have guitars). For a flavour of what you can expect, take a look at the Sermon and Worship  resource pages

Little Chicks

Creche and kids

Being family friendly is really important to us. On Sundays we provide creche facilities for babies and toddlers and Sunday school for the slightly older kids. Baby changing facilities available if required. When you arrive, just ask one of the team for more information and we will be glad to help.

Hope Church Accessibility

Hope Church has wheelchair access and the building can be easily reached from the parking area at the top of Lansdowne place. If you have any special requirements or would like to know more about the meeting, please get in touch with us.

Sunday evenings at Hope

If you enjoy a more relaxed and informal atmosphere, Sundays evenings at Hope offer a great time of extended worship followed by a short punchy message and the opportunity to stay and chat over coffee after the meeting.
