Welcome to Hope Church

Welcome to Hope Church Penzance and Newlyn

Hope Church Penzance and Newlyn is a family friendly church located in the heart of Alverton. We are a family friendly church and are part of the Apostolic Church in the United Kingdom. You can find out more about the church below or please feel free to contact us for more information about our services and meetings.

We aren’t just a club or society – we are a community that is based around Jesus. A key part of what we do is our Sunday Morning meetings.

Getting to the meeting

We are easy to find, you can just follow the directions on our contact page. We have disabled access to the venue and if you would like any help or have any questions, please contact us.

Before the meeting

The morning meeting usually starts at 10:30, but you are welcome to come a bit early. Someone will be on the door to show you where to go and answer any questions you may have.

Worship

Our meeting starts with sung worship; during this time the band will lead us. If you are unfamiliar with the style of worship, feel free to join in or sit and enjoy.

Creche and kids

We have a full children’s ministry available ranging from a creche space through to teens. The meeting leader will share details of when this is starting and where to go.

We take children’s safety very seriously and follow the CCPAS guidelines, but please feel free to ask us for more details on the day.

Word

The preach – every week, someone from our leadership team or a visiting speaker will help us to better understand God’s message to us through the bible.

Communion

When we take communion together, Christians are invited to share the bread and wine / juice together.

Meeting Ends

After the meeting please don’t rush off, we’d love to chat to you and answer any questions you may have. We have coffee and biscuits available.

If you would like someone to pray with you or talk through anything you have heard at the end of the meeting we would be glad to speak with you, just ask someone that you came with or one of the team at the front.
